Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, like your browser's local storage, work the same way. This notice explains how we use them — and why you will not see a cookie banner on this site.
Why there is no cookie banner
We do not use any advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so there is nothing for a banner to ask about. Under UK rules (PECR), consent banners are only needed for non-essential cookies and trackers — this site sets none.
Essential storage (always on)
These are needed to make the site work and do not track you, so they do not require consent:
- Chat assistant state, so a conversation with the assistant carries across pages during your visit. This is stored in your browser and is not used to track you.
Our analytics set nothing on your device
We measure how the site is used with our own first-party, cookieless analytics. When a page loads, your browser sends us the page address, the site you arrived from, your device type (phone, tablet or desktop) and your country. We do not store your IP address, we set no cookies or local storage, and nothing identifies you or follows you to other websites. Because nothing is stored on your device and no personal profile is built, no consent is required.
We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising pixels. We are not currently running advertising campaigns; if that ever changes, this notice will be updated first and any advertising cookies would only ever be set with your consent via a banner.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Because we set none for tracking, doing so will not affect your experience here beyond the chat assistant forgetting your conversation.
The forms on this site
When you submit a form, we use your details to respond to your enquiry. That is covered by our Privacy Policy, not by cookies.
